Hello, were here on today.com to explore art. Art is not nice! Do you know why? Well when we read, we all read the same words and can come to understand their meanings in a similar like fashion. However Art is not so nice. Art is an illusion. Light strikes the object, reflecting to the photo receptors in our eyes, in turn which our brain forms a representational image in our mind.

Now when two different people perceive the same image, their brain interprets that input into an illusion. Some may see beauty while others may be annoyed, or see ugliness. What a dirty trick, that art is. It is the same image, but has us to see or feel differently or possibly even similarly to others.

So here on this blog were going to explore this in the extreme. This artist Carlos L Romero has been collaborating over the internet, with three other international artists. We are going to look at the process of bringing art into the world. In much the same way as a child is born.

So that you may follow along, the work may be found at http://www.carloslromero.com. The piece we speak of is called “Waterlilies #5.
