As founder of !kohaus Avante~Garde art!sts I have always been a proponent of artists being social. As a youth I often wondered why I never met Salvador Dali or Picasso never called my house or came to Thanksgiving Dinners.

Why did artists need to remain so aloof? So in 2009 when I formed the !kohaus Avante-Garde Art!sts I reached out via the web, to like minded artists and we collaborated on works and discussions over vast distance solely using Social Media tools to work and discuss.

Now as our artists come and go and interact I was evaluating a social meeting place where artist as well as outsiders could interact. That place will be Google+. We have already been very fortunate to have a news breaking post by the software artist Scott Draves of the Paikilizer.

The real work will be in how to meld the capabilities of a new site called “EmpireAvenue” where you, “Build Your Empire: Use Virtual Currency to Expand Your Audience and Drive Engagement.”

With that being said I would like to start with a special offer of the first collaborative work done by Maggie Beresford of Australia and myself.
