Did you ever think that there were two distinct types of art? Yes and it seems that the commercial aspect of art has taken over. We have selected certain individuals to be art critics and they’re job is to tell us what is and what is not art.

They have succeeded in actually muddying the whole value system. It has been carefully contrived to present artists that are deemed salable. This is the same strategy applied to the music industry which has given us commercial entities that put together a special crafted product that is passed off as music. The commercial art world has done the same thing, artificially created.

Well what happens to the future Picasso, the future Jimi Hendrix? The same thing that happened in the past, they go unnoticed by the general populace, until someone catches a rift or drift of what they are doing.

With that in mind we won’t go into a long theoretical discourse on this phenomena, but rather just accept it for what it is. However I still feel that Ikohaus mantra of being Avant-garde is still valid. Whereby believing what the future holds is man coming to grips with the reality that he has nothing left in this world of major impact than his own creativity. We have machines and cheap labor that will soon be done by machines.

So welcome to the Age of Aquarius, The New Age of Indigo children, the age of enlightenment. This why we see the youth not interested in making a killing selling music but rather giving it away. This is what we asked for back in the 60’s. F’ the system. Now this generation is actually doing it, while we systematically try to categorize, label, systemize and indoctrinate them, they follow through with F’ the whole system.

This is where now where Ikohaus will come out it, itself and sponsor the social media music movement it created in CPirateNetwork as a work of art using people, musicians, and dancers to create on huge Social Media Music Conversation Participation Piece.

Maybe you never understood the connection but there it always was and Avant-garde experiment in an artist using more than paints or digital media to create something of substance, that involves active participation of others on a global scale.
