You might be asking if Blockchain Technology is the new Internet? According to Investopedia, a blockchain is a digitized, decentralized, public ledger of all cryptocurrency transactions. Blockchain technology allows digital data to be distributed but not copied. Thus, creating the backbone of a new type of internet. Originally, it was developed as the accounting method for the digital currency, Bitcoin. However, the tech community is now finding potential applications for the technology.
In this article, you’ll learn about Avant-garde artist, Romero and a new method he created for collecting art.
What is Blockchain Technology?
The main thing every single person asks when I discuss IkoVuX is what is Blockchain Technology? Authors of Blockchain Revolution, Don and Alex Tapscott stated, “The blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.”
Imagine a huge vault from a bank. The vault is filled with rows of unlabeled deposit boxes. However, each deposit box has a glass facade, allowing everyone to visualize the contents of the deposit box, but does not access it.
When a person opens a new deposit box, he or she receives a key that is unique to that box. Making a copy of the key does not duplicate the contents of that box. In the same way, even though you have the key, the box is not technically yours. You only have the ability to access what’s inside of it. Now, you have a basic understanding of Blockchain Technology.
Who will use Blockchain Technology?
Currently, the finance industry uses the technology. Romero has been developing ways that blockchain can be used in the art world. IkoVuX With this new development, patrons too can use blockchain. In fact, blockchain technology cuts out the need for a middleman for these types of transactions.
Romero’s new development uses a business class blockchain to further democratize the art world from Coinbase. As a result, giving you the confidence that Ikohaus is a vetted company that delivers and your work has a unique blockchain identifier.
