social assembly on 5th

Welcome to Ikohaus as we not only take our innovation to the streets, but employ some here too adding a fresh editing touch to this post.

December 22nd 2020 is the historic date when the world’s first public mural also on the blockchain was installed.

Here in pictures and words is the continued story from ‘Blockchain Around The Block – A historic first’ as the mural is being installed.

The consortium of project collaborators are as follows: Artist – Romero, Uptown Greenville – Meredith Hawke Dzecko, the Greenville Mural Project and FastSigns of Greenville, NC

The project from it’s inception for me was a chance to be innovative with a utility infrastructure item that was utilitarian and functional, but not very artistic.

A chance for people and passersby to look at the huge traffic box as an interesting work of art to the eye and brain. Most people when they look at my work ‘Social Assembly’, get it.

At the same time we are transforming a utility box into a mural work of art I thought let’s bring public art up to date and from the outset inculde the authenticity of it on the Blockchain.

This way with my method of a simple NFC tag on the work, a viewer will be able to bring up the record on the blockchain and all the relevant notes on the piece.

The mural authenticity and files can be seen here https://codex-viewer.com/record/110798
