I started chasing butterfly’s and bees with my camera around 2009 with a little Kodak that I actually hated because I couldn’t get a close up photo with it. Then I graduated to a Canon Digital Point and Shoot and that is what all of my photos are taken with if dated before November of 2011 when I was given a brand new Nikon D3100 from Max Davis and his daughter for Christmas.
Since then I have taken more than 10,000 photos up to date with the Nikon D3100 camera. I literally take it everywhere with me.
My eyesight started failing me drastically in 2010 and by 2011 I was diagnoses as legally blind, but to be honest with everyone, I see fine and I can still drive my vehicle, take photographs and all those things that would normally be difficult to near impossible without adequate eyesight.
I guess I can say I do not let anything get me down, but that isn’t always the truth and the truth is I was praying one day in 2009 and I felt the strong urge to get up and start taking photos.. I felt that God was telling me that God would be the eyes behind the lens. I would just take the photos, and that is what I do.

As you get to know me and my photography and artwork I hope you get a view of the world through my eyes and mind and let it just move your own imagination into gear.
I can’t say that I’m an artist because I decided to be an Artist one day or I can’t say I’m a Photography because I said “One day I’m going to grow up and be a Photographer”, but I can say that what I do is simply a part of my daily life and I hope to bring happiness or enrichment or enlightenment in some way to somebody.
